Clean Up Sensitization Exercise 1.0

The Clean Up Sensitization Exercise 1.0 was held on 14 June 2025 at Sani Abacha Bus Terminal, Ado, Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State. The exercise was organised to promote environmental cleanliness, public awareness, and civic responsibility within the community.

The initiative brought together volunteers and partners who actively participated in waste clean-up activities around the bus terminal and its surroundings. The exercise focused on proper waste disposal, maintaining clean public spaces, and encouraging responsible environmental behaviour.

In addition to the physical clean-up, public sensitisation sessions were conducted to educate community members and commuters on the importance of environmental hygiene and collective responsibility. Participants were encouraged to take ownership of their environment and contribute to sustainable practices that support a cleaner and healthier society.

The Clean Up Sensitization Exercise 1.0 reinforced the importance of community-driven environmental action and highlighted how small, consistent efforts can contribute to long-term environmental and public health benefits.
